Important dates and timelines:
Sunday May 17, 2026 at 5pm
Westlake High School Class of 2026 ~ Baccalaureate Service
Riverbend Centre ~ 4214 N Capital of Texas Hwy, ~ Austin, TX 78746
Student speakers and performers should arrive in caps and gowns at various times between 3:30-4:00pm, which have already communicated to them.
4:15pm - Graduates arrive in caps and gowns
4:30pm - Doors open for families
4:45pm - Graduates proceed into auditorium
5:00pm - Service begins
6:30pm - Service ends
6:30pm on - Graduates and families are welcome to proceed to the outdoor courtyard to take photos
NOTE: Add 30 extra minutes in travel time to account for possible delays due to major Loop 360 construction. Obey signs, don’t block traffic, and respect handicapped spaces. Riverbend is handicapped-accessible. Park in marked spaces and ask ushers for direction for seating.

OPTION 1: Senior Dedication Page
Recognize your Class of 2026 Senior with a dedication page that will be featured on the Westlake Baccalaureate social media platforms and in a slideshow that will play at Baccalaureate.
OPTION 2: General Donation
Help fund the expenses associated with the production of this beautiful service and the recognition of two seniors through the Baccalaureate Scholarship Fund with a donation in the amount of your choosing. Your donations will ensure that the rich Westlake High School Baccalaureate tradition can continue for many years to come.

What is Baccalaureate?
Westlake Baccalaureate is a student-led, inter-faith service held to offer blessings to seniors of all faiths. The ceremony includes student statements, readings, and live music provided by Westlake High School Fine Arts students from band, choir, and orchestra. A tradition dating back four decades in the Westlake community, this service has evolved and grown, now enjoying the participation of a large portion of the graduating class’s students and their families. The event is free requires no tickets.

How We Operate
The Westlake Baccalaureate is entirely funded by generous families like you and donations from various faith communities. The Westlake Baccalaureate Committee, comprised of volunteer parents of students at Westlake High School, produces the event each year. We warmly welcome donations and volunteers.
